2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 8,900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 15 years to get that many views.

©Soul Searching for Deeper Meanings of Illness

By Marilyn Cramer, RMT, Cl.Ht.

There are many hidden meanings or agendas for illness.  There are times when illness is caused by physical stress to the point where our immune system cannot function.  This can be caused by our negative and sometimes unruly thoughts that seep into the subconscious.  Sometimes illness or disease is a form of escape, and other times it is a form of wanting or needing attention.

The Authors Show

As you may know, I was recently interviewed on The Authors Show. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity to share about my book. I am very excited to tell you that I have qualified to be included in their 2012-13 edition of “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading.” Did I say I am excited?!

The final step is voting. That’s right – you get to vote for me! The 50 authors with the most votes win inclusion in the book. Seriously, I would consider it an honor to have your vote.

Please click here to vote.  When you get there, click on the red voting link. You will see a survey. Click to enter the survey, which will take you to a list of names. Find my name on the list – click, and you’re done. Deadline is 11/11, so there’s no time like the present

Finalist

.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support. Please let me know how I can support you in your endeavors, as well.

Authors, I would love to see your books on this site.

Success: When People Want to Exploit You or Me

Reblogged from View From My Loft...:

The other day a friend said, “Don’t forget us little people when you become a rich and famous writer.” To which, I replied, “I am a little people and I’ll never forget where I came from.” What prompted this warning? A discussion, actually more of a query, from a group of friends who were sharing their successes in life. When the wheel spun my way, I simply alluded to the fact that I have been writing a book and I hope to have it completed in a few months and when it is finished I plan to begin my next manuscript.

Life is not linear!

Reblogged from A Woman's Guide:

we create our lives symbiotically as we explore our talents in relation to the circumstances they helped to create for us."

THE SECRET TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING THAT NO ONE WILL TELL YOU

Hi reader,

Before I begin, I’d like you to meet my white 2011 Prius. His name is Snowball.

Ok, you can stop looking at his cute butt now.

Snowball has a lot of cool features, like JBL speakers, plushy seats, and –this is one of my favorite features – a monitor on his dash that conveniently shows me exactly how many miles of fuel I have left.

Well That's Gratitude For You!

Reblogged from Holistic Words:

We now live in a "buy it now" world and Christmas and birthdays are no longer special, exclusive present days.

The bank account overdraft, credit card, loan, re-mortgage and store card gives us the opportunity to buy now, pay later, instead of saving, waiting and anticipating.

Lets say you buy a brand new, super intergalactic, high-speed laptop - that even does the washing-up - on credit.
