Exorcism and Soul Releasement

Darker Drabble: Medical Exorcisms

Darker Drabble: Medical Exorcisms (Photo credit: Eexlebots)

What is exorcism?
A definition of exorcism by the Free Online Dictionary says exorcism is a ceremony to expel an evil spirit from a person or place. Most Christians know exorcism through the Catholic church as a violent and frightening process. Other Christian religions such as Pentecostals and other charismatic groups also practice exorcism. It has been practiced for centuries worldwide in Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and among tribal cultures.

In the Christian religion, the key concept in exorcism is that an entity who has taken over a person’s body is an evil demon and must be removed forcibly. This creates a battle between the “demon” and the exorcist(s), each side determined to show the other who is right. When the “demon” is finally expelled from the body, it is made to swear an oath or commanded to depart rather than being directed to a specific destination. It seems the person, now freed from influence, is not given any counsel about how to remain free of outside influence in the future.

I have never worked with “demons,” but in counseling a client once, I saw a group of violently angry entities waiting for her, and I knew that if she continued on the path she had been pursuing, she would eventually meet up with them. She had been hurt so deeply by an important person in her life that she was unwilling to forgive, and she was on her way to being taken in by this group.

Soul Releasement
A more recent method of dealing with disembodied spirits involves seeing them as confused souls who need healing rather than as evil entities. While soul releasement was part of my metaphysical training, other psychotherapists, such as Dr. Edith Fiore, developed their own methods of freeing confused souls as a result of surprise encounters during psychotherapy sessions. Dr. Carl A. Wickland was a pioneer in the field of abnormal psychology who practiced soul releasement with much success. Dr. William J. Baldwin called the process he developed spirit releasement therapy. The process goes by different names, depending on who developed it, but it is conducted basically the same way with minor variations.

How It’s Done
I conducted many soul releasement sessions (which I call entity release) in my practice of psychotherapy, so I’ll share with you the way I did it. My first priority was to determine that my client’s disturbing feelings were due to a possession and not something else. Next, I began working with the attached entity, either through a psychic medium or through my spiritual guides. My client was a witness, and not a participant in this part of the process, although I would check with my client from time to time to see how s/he was relating to what was occurring as I worked with the entity.

To begin, I asked the entity to identify itself, tell me why it was with my client, and what it wanted. After clarifying this information, I let the entity know that it had passed on and no longer had a physical body. I let the entity know how it had been negatively influencing the client, and that it was time to go on to the next step in its evolution.

Sometimes the confused souls were unwilling to move on. They may have felt frightened or angry or that the client needed them for protection, so I would address their concerns. After resolving their concerns, I would introduce them to their own spiritual helpers, who were prepared to take them to the light, where they would be lovingly welcomed.

Once it was established that the entity was willing to go, I asked the entity and my client if there was anything they wanted to say before leaving. Usually there was forgiveness given and received, or love and reassurance expressed, then goodbyes, and the entity would go into the light with its spiritual helpers.

The sessions were emotional for the client and the entity; sometimes the attachments were due to misguided love. Whatever the attachment was about, healing always occurred. This was the reward for me. I had the fulfillment of witnessing healing of my client, as well as of the formerly attached entity. The final step was to regroup with my client, coaching him/her on how to stay clear of further attachment and how to alter the habits that had attracted the entity.

The most important thing about conducting this non-confrontational type of soul release is that spirit conducts the session. The facilitator never gets emotionally involved with the entity and is guided by spirit through every step of the process. If an entity becomes difficult, it is important to allow the spirit guides to handle the situation. I remember an entity visiting me several days before a scheduled session.

I noticed him in my house, floating near the ceiling, and at first he seemed threatening. I eventually realized he was afraid of losing his attachment to the physical, as he knew about the impending session, and was checking me out. I did not address the entity directly, but told my spiritual helpers I was willing to allow him to observe me, and I wanted them to see that he did not try to influence me in any way. He left my house after a couple of days, and the session for his release went smoothly and easily.

There is more information about soul releasement at the following web sites: http://www.soulrescuesite.com/spirit-releasement-therapy.htm, http://www.spiritreleasement.org/NSITE/index.html, and http://depossessiontherapy.com.

Soul releasement is perfectly safe when it is conducted in an organized, step-by-step manner. Providing a safe structure gives the confused soul boundaries and the security it needs to engage in the process.

The next, and last, article in this series will be a kind of summary and will talk about the symptoms of influence by a disembodied spirit.

Disembodied Souls, Powerful Influences

English: The magnetic field of a bar magnet re...

Image via Wikipedia

It is well understood that everything is energy – even thoughts are energy. Our thoughts, beliefs, and memories create an energy pattern around us, making us magnets for similar thoughts. Every thought we think travels and reverberates into infinity. We live in a psychic soup full of thoughts and influences from everywhere. Many of the thoughts that we take for granted are ours are really impressions we pick up from others.

Paranormal studies in thought projection have shown that a subject can pick up a thought no matter how far away he/she is from the person projecting that thought. It happens in everyday life. When you think of a friend and that friend phones you shortly after your thought, you have picked up your friend’s thought of calling you. It’s natural. Every thought we think influences something or someone. Fortunately, we have the power to choose our influences. Unfortunately, most of us are not aware of this power we have.

We pick up impressions from other dimensions, as well. Ancient wisdom has taught the existence of many dimensions of consciousness. Science is investigating the existence of other dimensions. Psychic mediums routinely communicate with souls who have passed on into another dimension.

It’s not news that thoughts attract like thoughts. If, for instance, you wake up in the morning and stub your toe while getting out of bed, then spill the coffee you just made, and bump your head on the shower door, you are probably still upset about stubbing your toe. Your original upset has been carried forward into your day. If you change your thoughts, your day will change.

If you keep the upset over stubbing your toe all through your day, your day will likely get bumpier and bumpier while your mood becomes darker and darker. If this goes on long enough, you will likely attract a confused soul who has the same mindset as you, just as you seem to be running into grouchy people all day. It’s physics. Like attracts like. Even though the phrase has almost become a cliche, “change your thoughts and change your life” is the way life works.

You can think of souls who pass on in confusion as people just like yourself who are trying to hold onto old patterns because they don’t know any better. If they were compulsive eaters in physical life, they are still looking for ways to keep on eating. They seek attachment to a compulsive eater so they can fulfill that need. The same is true of souls who passed on with a compulsive need for drugs, drinking, smoking, and sex. They will find someone with their same need and try to attach themselves. It’s what they do. It’s the only life they know.

Instead of fearing them, we can be healing these souls and releasing them. Soul releasement is a powerful healing practice; the spiritual equivalent of psychotherapy. People are released from the influence of confused souls, and confused souls are free to move on to the next step in their spiritual evolvement. Although soul releasement therapy is not yet well known in the United States, it is a growing profession.

To sum up, confused souls do not like positive energy and cannot exist in it. When you change your energy from negitive to positive, they have to move on and find someone else to attach themselves to. I wrote an article about a year ago called The Unquiet Dead which goes into detail about the influence of confused souls and how to avoid it.

You are in charge of your thoughts and feelings. No disembodied soul can influence you unless you give it permission. If you have uncontrollable emotions, if you have thoughts that are not characteristic of you, or if you have addictions, read the article and practice the energy techniques described in it. Taking charge of your energy is the first step in resolving your own confusion and opening the way to spiritual freedom.

Next time, I’ll talk about soul releasement and exorcism.

Your Outer Self – How You Live Your Life

As with your Inner Self (see blog post, “Your Inner Self – The Engine that Drives You”), whether you are aware of it or not, you are always trying to express your spiritual self. It is everyone’s automatic response to life.

Your Outer Self is another of your five core qualities. It represents the way people see you, your personality, and lifestyle.

If you are feeling frustrated with life or if somehow things are not working out as you wish, chances are you are allowing outside circumstances to override your deeper spiritual self. It is always harder to resist your inner promptings than to go with the flow of your purpose.

Your Outer Self number is found in the consonants of your birth name. To calculate your Outer Self number, you will need to use the Chaldean Conversion Code below.

How to Calculate Your Outer Self Number

Print your birth name on a piece of paper. Be sure you are using the name on your birth certificate, even if it is spelled incorrectly. Next, place the number that corresponds to each consonant above that consonant in your name. Add all the numbers above the consonants in your first name together and write the sum above those numbers.

Now reduce that sum to a single digit, if necessary, (for example, 13 becomes 4) and write it above the first sum. Do the same thing with your middle and last names. If you have a suffix like Junior or III after your name, calculate that in the same way. Spell out Junior.

Finally, add all the single-digit sums above each name together and reduce that sum to a single digit unless it is 11, 22, or 33, which are master numbers. Now you have your Outer Self number.

Brief Interpretations of your Outer Self Number

Each number has its positive and negative qualities, and both are represented in the interpretations. When you are expressing the negative qualities of your number, it means you are confused. Using the positive qualities can help you get back in balance.

1          You are independent, capable, courageous, daring, creative, forceful, assertive, a person of action. People look to you for leadership. You can be selfish, pushy, impatient, and domineering.

2          You are warm, friendly, willing to help, able to get along with all kinds of people, can fit in anywhere. You instill cooperation in others. You can be indecisive, painfully shy, and needy.

3.         People see you as outgoing, cheerful, and expressive, a talker, active, determined, sociable, and popular. You seem to have no worries. You can be a scatterbrain, disorganized, and ineffective by spreading yourself too thin.

4          You are seen as disciplined, organized, dependable, practical, conservative, thorough, a hard worker. People respect you because they can count on you. Your presence reassures others. You can be narrow-minded, stubborn, inflexible, nervous, close-minded, and difficult to work with.

5          People see you as outgoing, sociable, cheerful, enthusiastic, an adventurer, risk-taker, dynamic, magnetic, attractive, gracious, and carefree. You are the life of the party. You can be seen as loud, boastful, startling, bizarre, and irresponsible.

6          People like to be around you because you project a sense of serenity and harmony. You are outgoing and friendly in a dignified way, even at a party. You make people feel welcome wherever you are. People come to you for advice. You can be a worrier, interfering, overbearing, self righteous, and careless about your appearance and that of your environment.

7          People find you gracious and friendly in a quiet way. You can be reserved and aloof, as well. No matter how engaged you are, you project an impression that you know something no one else does. You can be exclusive, snobbish, judgmental, secretive, and elusive. No one can pin you down.

8          People see you as dynamic, energetic, friendly, persuasive, in charge. You emanate personal power, strength, and success. You automatically assume leadership. You can be abusive, dictatorial, impatient, scornful of others, and boastful about your possessions.

9          You are seen as sincere, friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic, strong, charming, compassionate, and having a magnetic personality. People are drawn to you because they sense you care about them. You can be overly emotional, becoming involved in everyone’s problems because you feel you are responsible for fixing them. You can be irresponsible, indecisive, and ineffective.

11        Others are inspired by you and see you as original, having avant garde opinions, artistic, creative, humanitarian, unique, inventive, idealistic, a dreamer. People are drawn to you and are fascinated by your message.

You can be egotistical, shallow, uninterested in the opinions of others, and an impractical dreamer with your head in the clouds, accomplishing nothing.

22        People see you as a powerful, practical humanitarian who can make dreams come true. Whatever your skills and expertise, you use them to help others and make the world a better place. People trust you and have confidence that you have the highest interests at heart. You can be snobbish and inflexible.

33        People see you as the ultimate giver. You are outgoing, entertaining, dramatic, a lover of children and animals. People are attracted to you because they can feel your kindness, generosity, and genuine caring. You tend to take on the problems of others rather than helping them solve their own. You sacrifice yourself because you don’t understand the difference between being a servant and being of service.

Do You Know Where You Are Going?

Athena 1 rocket launching from Kodiak Island i...

Image via Wikipedia

This is a rewrite of the original article, which I posted on Monday. My Tuesday writers group had so many insightful suggestions to make it better, I had to do it over. My thanks to them, and I hope you find it more informative than the original.

Many people are living one life and desiring another. Many people are not aware that they have a specific purpose in life. Many people are living someone else’s life instead of their own. Many compare their achievements to outer standards of success and attempt to emulate them instead of listening to their hearts.

Last week, I wrote about your Life Purpose number – the one that shows you what you were born to do with your life. This week, I’m going to talk about your Life Direction number. It’s the number that shows you how you chose to live your purpose.

Your Direction number is calculated from the numbers in your birth date. It’s easy to calculate your Direction number. To show you, I’ll use the birth date 12/24/1942.

The first step is to add each number together and reduce the sum to a single digit:

12: 1 + 2 = 3

24: 2 + 4 = 6

1942: 1 + 9 + 4 + 2 = 16; 1 + 6 = 7.

Now add the three single-digit sums together:

3 + 6 + 7 = 16: 1 + 6 = 7.

Direction number for this birth date is 7.

There isn’t enough room in a blog post to interpret all twelve Direction numbers, but you can find number interpretations on many numerology sites or you can get my book to see the interpretations and to calculate and interpret your entire chart. You can also get free numerology readings online, but none of them I’ve seen use the Chaldean method of calculation, which is the one I use and is accurate, unlike the system most numerologists use.

On the physical plane, your Direction number indicates your most fulfilling profession or lifestyle. You can use this number to guide you in choosing the right career. On a spiritual level, your Direction number reflects the talents and abilities you were born with, and they are expressed in activities you love to do.

For example, if your Direction number is 2, you like to be part of a team, you can get along with almost anyone, you can bring peace and balance into any situation, you are innately psychic, and you are sensitive to the feelings of others. Your profession could be that of a diplomat, an athlete, a member of the medical profession, a counselor, depending on the other numbers that represent your Core Qualities.

Your Direction and Purpose numbers work together to frame your life purpose. For example, using the Direction number of 2 with a Purpose number 8, which deals with physical possessions and management, managing a health-care business could be fulfilling. The 2 in combination with a purpose number of 9, the number of the humanitarian, may indicate international travel as a diplomat or a representative of a humanitarian organization as a career choice.

These number combinations are influenced by the three other numbers representing your core qualities; your Inner Self number, your Outer Self number, and your Midlife Power number, which I will talk about in future articles.

Your life purpose is reflected in the qualities, talents, and preferences that comprise your spiritual makeup, which, in turn, creates your personality. These qualities have been with you since the day you were born. They are part of your innate, subconscious knowledge, and you automatically live by their influence.

Numerology provides a formula that brings this subconscious knowledge to your conscious mind by transforming it into specific information you can easily understand and use in logical, rational ways.

Is your outer life reflecting your inner self? Are your words accurately reflecting your feelings? If so, you are living an authentic life. Pat yourself on the back because you have the commitment to follow your spirit.

If you are not satisfied with the way your life is going, you can change it. The first step is to look inside and get to know yourself. Pay attention to the things you love. If you love gardening, get more involved with it. If you love doing crafts or artwork, make time to do more. If you love taking things apart and putting them back together, follow that passion. If you love helping people, find a way to do that. Do the thing that brings you the most joy.

You are the architect of your life purpose. Deep in your heart you have the answers to all your questions. You already have everything you need to create the life you want. The clues are inside you. Follow your passions. Numerology can help you see clearly the changes you need to make.

Once you make the decision to know yourself and be who you really are, you will attract the right people to help you move forward. You will be attracted to the right information and the right situations to help you unfold your true self. All you need to do is decide.

My book, “You Were Born to Succeed: Finding Your Purpose through Numerology,” can get you started moving in the right direction. Your Life Purpose Number

Girl walking in a beach. Porto Covo, Portugal.

Image via Wikipedia

Your Life Purpose number appears at the top of your Chaldean Soul Chart. It shows you the main thrust of your life. Your Life Purpose number is like an overlay that influences all the other numbers in your chart. Its vibration permeates every part of your life. It is the main contributor to your personality type, it reflects the deep longings of your soul, and it is the spontaneous and automatic expression of yourSelf. You automatically express the qualities of this number in everything you do.

Your Life Purpose number is derived from all the letters of the name that appears on your birth certificate. Whether it is spelled correctly or not, this is the name you use to calculate your Life Purpose number.

The interpretation of your Life Purpose number must include the influences of the other numbers in the Core Qualities section of your Chaldean Soul Chart. Each number has its own influence, and all the numbers combine in the unique vibration that is you. It’s like a soup. Even though you can taste the individual ingredients, the combination of those ingredients makes the overall flavor of the soup.

Some people have the ability to trust their intuition and follow their purpose from the day they are born. They are usually supported in this by family, friends, and other influences. These are the people, like Steve Jobs, who always seem to be in the right place at the right time, who are passionate about their focus in life, and who always accomplish their goals. They work hard, they love what they do, and when they meet with a challenge, they never waiver in their purpose. They never give up.

Many people lack this level of focus. Perhaps they lack the self trust to follow their intuition, to listen to their feelings. Perhaps they lack the support they need to ignite the fire of fulfillment. Perhaps part of their purpose is to find their way without much outside help. Perhaps it has never occurred to them that they have a specific purpose in life.

These are the people who can benefit from learning to calculate and interpret their Chaldean Soul Chart. If your experience is more like this, your chart can give you the sense of direction and possibility you are looking for. Your chart confirms what you already know and crystallizes your inner knowing into a clear and simple form you can understand. It’s the how-to book from your soul.

If you are searching for something more in life, I invite you to get my book and give numerology a try. If you are searching for a way to help your children become the best they can be, calculate their Chaldean Soul Charts and create an environment that will support their life purpose. Imagine what life would be like if everyone in your family were acting in support of their own and everyone else’s purpose. Imagine how numerology could help each one understand the other.

Click the Select Authors image on the right and sample my book, “You Were Born to Succeed: Finding Your Purpose through Numerology.” I would love to hear from those of you who buy it and use it. Can You Discover Your Life Purpose in Less Than An Hour?

English.123Reqemler

Image via Wikipedia

Sounds like a get-rich-quick scheme, but it really isn’t. Even though it only takes an hour or so to create your Chaldean Soul Chart, it takes a lifetime to live your purpose; and it takes dedication, perseverance, commitment, determination, courage, integrity, and a sense of humor, as well. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, but the first step on your path to fulfillment.

Chaldean numerology doesn’t tell you anything you don’t already know; instead, it reveals what you you’ve known all your life. Your Chaldean Soul Chart brings information hidden in your subconscious mind into your conscious mind, where you will clearly recognize it.

As you calculate your Chaldean Soul Chart, you will see that qualities you are taking for granted are the foundation of your success. You will recognize dreams and desires you have been pushing away for years as the core of your life purpose. As you complete your Chaldean Soul Chart, you will see and feel your authentic self expressed in the numbers before you. Your own experience is your confirmation. Satisfaction guaranteed.

So don’t get the idea that I’m trying to hoodwink you. I just want to attract you to my space so you can choose to learn more, or not. I want you to have your best possible life, and it doesn’t take huge amounts of money, a secret word, or the key to the city. All it takes is a look inside at who you really are.

The rest is up to you.

Live your purpose every day.

Money – Stuff

I Get Money

Image via Wikipedia

Long ago and far away in a land of milk and honey, a great prophet came to the people and said, “You need money, and I have it. You can borrow it and pay me back with a little profit for me. Then you can have all the stuff you want.”

“A wonderful idea,” said the people, and commenced to borrow. Well, you know what happened after that.

Now we’re in the soup, and looking for a way out. What can we do? Read this post I found and get an eyefull and a mindfull wakeup to possibilities, and perhaps some  inspiration. Meanwhile, have a sense of humor about it.

Speaking With Family Members Who Have Died

What would you want to talk about?

my tree at dusk

Actually, I have spoken to several family members who have died. But the conversations weren’t about their earthly lives. More about that later.

I’d like to know more about my father’s life because he was an interesting person and a very classy man. I would like to sit down with my aunts and get all the family gossip. The wild one and my mother were good friends in high school, and my favorite aunt, who was the oldest, told me some tales about those two before she died.

Actually, I had a conversation with my favorite aunt several months (maybe a year) after she died. She came to see me and made her presence known by trying to get into my body.

As I was going about some mundane business one day, the back of my neck began to tingle and I felt dizzy. At first I was startled, but after I cleared my energy I understood what was happening.

Like many who pass on, my aunt had been visiting people she knew when she was present on the earth plane. She seemed confused and frustrated because she didn’t have a body any more. And she didn’t like my apartment at all. She wanted to be in her house, which she loved.

We had a conversation about her present state and the possibilities that were open to her, and she agreed to go with her spirit guides into the light. Two other souls were with her, who may have been my wild aunt and my mother. They went into the light with her, and it was more important to me to facilitate that than to take time to verify who they were. Besides, Auntie was in a hurry, and I wasn’t about to hold her up.

My mother, my wild aunt, and my grandfather have come to me on different occasions, probably because they somehow knew I could help them. I’ve had unique contact experiences with my mother and father, and will write about them another time.

I’m glad I was with my loved ones once more before they went on and that I was able to help them when they asked for it.

Numerology in Everyday Life – Your Identity

A wink is a type of gesture.

A wink is a type of gesture. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Who are you? This might sound like a silly question. We have many identifying markers  in our lives – driver’s license, Social Security Number, PIN numbers, card numbers, logins, badges, security codes. These identifiers provide us access and permission to conduct the business of our lives. But they are not about who we are.

Your true identity lies within you; it is contained in the unique energetic patterning of your soul. You were born with it. You can think of it as your electro-magnetic soulprint, a spiritual version of your fingerprint. It is reflected in the way you perceive life – feelings and preferences that may have nothing to do with your family influences. Your soulprint is reflected in the way you move, your tone of voice, your interests, longings, and desires.

Do you hate math but love to paint or write? Are you fascinated with science, obsessed with athletics, dream of being an astronaut? Are you pursuing your dream? Or have you put it on the back burner?

Some people are in tune with their true identity. These are the ones who pursue their dreams and don’t give up until they have achieved their purpose. Most of us have very strong reasons to let our dreams go. We don’t understand how important we are. And we pay a high price for that.

In numerology, there is a number that is the key to your soul’s identity. It is your Life Purpose number, and it is contained in the letters of your birth name. All the other numbers in your numerology profile enhance your Life Purpose number. You have a life purpose, even if you think you don’t. The most fulfilling thing you can do is to live your purpose. You are here on earth to be fulfilled, to enjoy life, and to be successful. If you don’t feel fulfilled, if you’re not enjoying life, and if you don’t consider yourself successful, there is something you can do to change it.

Go to Smashwords, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble and download my book, “You Were Born to Succeed: Finding Your Purpose through Numerology,” where you will learn to create your Chaldean Soul Chart. It’s easy; just follow the directions, and you really can discover your purpose in less than an hour. You will be amazed and delighted when you discover your unique soulprint.

You can change your life by taking one step at a time to fulfill your purpose. You can be one of those smart, happy, successful people who love life and spread joy just by being themselves.

Please leave a comment so I know you’re out there. Doesn’t matter if it’s negative or positive. I would love to hear about your experience creating your Chaldean Soul Chart. And I’m always here to answer your questions.

Live your purpose every day.
