Now that you’ve done your Chaldean Soul Chart, how does it feel to put your life purpose into action? How will it change your life? What will your family and friends think? How do you actually do it?
Scary is Fine
You will encounter fear when you change your life. It’s perfectly natural because you are entering unknown territory. Just remember, everyone else who takes on this journey is experiencing scary times too. I’ll talk about practical ways you can deal with fear in another post.
You will see that dreams and passions you’ve had since childhood are revealed in your Chaldean Soul Chart. Deep in your soul, you have known all along what you want to do with your life, but you haven’t given credence to your inner knowing.
Maybe you thought your dreams were only wishful thinking or impractical nonsense. Maybe you got the message from others that you can’t make a living doing what you love, maybe you have obligations to your family or your job, or maybe you’re afraid to share what you’d love to do because others have made fun of you.
If it’s so hard to step out and be who you are, why bother? It’s safer to hide in old habits. But if you keep on hiding, you continue to feel incomplete – empty inside, between a rock and a hard place.
The key to living your purpose is congruence. When your outer actions reflect your inner feelings, when your inner self and your outer self are in alignment, you have congruence. Congruence is really the only form of fulfillment; it is an end in itself. Think about it. Everything good grows from it. Congruence creates happiness and inner peace. True success unfolds from congruence.
Congruence requires courage, which you have in spades, even if you don’t think so. Remember, you already have everything you need to live the purpose you have chosen.
The Seven Simple Steps
These steps are simple, but not easy. You will be flying in the face of your old self, moving out of your comfort zone, and upsetting some people in your life. But these steps will help you navigate the conflict and confusion that will show up on your journey to living your best life.
1. Thoughts become things. Change your thoughts, change your life. “Be, Do, Have” are timeless words of wisdom. Notice the order of those words. First, be that which you want; second, do that which is necessary to get what you want; third, you then are ready to attract what you want.
Become the master of your consciousness. Start by making time every day for at least five minutes of meditation. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Merely getting quiet (sitting in a comfortable position – not lying down) and focusing on your breathing will give you peace and enlightenment. Use a timer. When your mind wanders, bring your focus back to your breathing. This simple process will clear your mind and help you get in touch with your soul.
2. Start small. Go with your soul-driven desire and begin to practice it like a hobby. This is about creating your new life, so make time every day for action. Even if it’s only a few minutes a day at first, give yourself this vital gift. If you’d love to play the piano, draw or paint, be a crafts person, a librarian, an economist, work with animals, be a counselor, get married and have babies, whatever it is, take lessons, go to school. If you can’t afford to go to school full time, take one course at a time, become an apprentice, or research on your own.
3. Find a community. Look for like-minded people to hang out with. Search for groups in your local area, join meet-ups, and find groups online in social media and forums. Although online associations definitely have value, face-to-face contact is more important.
4. Find out from the horse’s mouth what it’s like to live the lifestyle. Contact people who are doing what you want to do and interview them over coffee. Call them up (no texting or email) and tell them you’ve always wanted to do what they’re doing and you’d like to learn about their day. If they live far away from you, set up Skype chats. Complete strangers will be thrilled to share their experience with you.
5. Reassure your loved ones. Nobody likes change. Once you start to change your behavior, they will try to change you back to your old self. Let them know what you are doing and reassure them that you still love them. If that doesn’t work, see step #6.
6. Being true to yourself is your first priority. Learn to say no. When friends or loved ones want you to get back into old habits, just say no. Some friends will fall by the wayside, but that’s fine; to each his (or her) own.
7. If you have a job you hate, don’t quit. You need the money or you wouldn’t be there. Instead, apply yourself to doing the very best you can at it. Talk yourself into loving the parts of it you hate. As you change your attitude, you’ll see changes in your environment. I’ll go into that in another post. For now trust me, it works.
Learning to live your purpose takes discipline and commitment. But it also opens up your life to more fun and creativity than ever before. Enjoy the process.
I wish all good things for you as you begin your great adventure. Please share your comments, questions, and experiences. For the first time in human history, we have the opportunity to effect positive change on mass consciousness just by being true to ourselves. The possibilities are endless.
Your Cycles – Personal Years and Personal Months
The shorter cycles of Personal Years and Personal Months tell you where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you are going, just as the longer cycles do. Since these cycles are shorter, you get a more immediate picture of the flow of your life.
Your cycles proceed in an orderly fashion whether you are aware of them or not. You don’t have to try to follow your cycles. Appropriate experiences appear before you automatically. The process is effortless. You choose whether or not to flow with your cycles. The trick is to have faith and allow yourself to go with the flow. If you find yourself traveling a bumpy road full of frustration, chances are you may be resisting the cycle you are in.
If you’re like me, and want understanding along with faith, learning about your cycles will make life easier. Since I’ve learned about my cycles I feel more secure about the present and future. In fact, I feel excited about the potential opportunities that are opening up for me.
Currently, I’m in a number 9 Personal Year, which can be challenging because it’s about ending in all its forms. Relationships may change or come to an end, jobs or certain routines can change or end, objects may be lost, attitudes can change radically, and streamlining your environment becomes important. Unpleasant endings are less upsetting for me than they were before because I know these experiences are ultimately for my good and are preparing me for the next 9-year cycle full of new opportunities.
Your Personal Year cycles are, obviously, one year in duration. They begin on your birthday and end the day before your next birthday. In reality, you sometimes begin to attract the experiences of your next Personal Year up to three months before your birthday. Here’s an earlier post about Personal Years that goes into more depth.
Knowledge of your Personal Months can enhance the experiences of your Personal Years and contribute to a strong foundation as you welcome new experiences into your life. The interpretations below apply to both Personal Years and Personal Months.
The beginning of a new cycle, this is a time of initiating, starting new projects, making new plans, meeting new people, taking the lead, following your own instincts and intuition. Express your individuality, stand up for yourself, and establish independence. Hesitation or lack of initiative will set you back.
This is a time for cooperation, partnerships, working in harmony with others, and creating peace within and without. It’s a time to develop the new projects and ideas of the Number 1 period, attending to details, networking, friendship, and collaboration.
This is a time for branching out; social activities, self expression, promoting yourself and your projects, and creativity. It’s a time to enjoy the lighter side of life by entertaining, going out with friends, and getting involved in the creative arts. Projects involving words, such as writing, lecturing, teaching, or singing are emphasized.
This is a time for building, for creating routines and systems that make life easier, patiently attending to details, and creating a powerful foundation that will serve you and others for years to come. You may have high expenses. You will need to stay focused to be successful, as this is a demanding period that requires self discipline.
This is a period of change, freedom, movement, activity of almost any sort. It’s a time of adjusting to new conditions, expansion, and learning to let go. It can be quite an adventure. See changes as new opportunities for your growth and fulfillment.
This is a time when your attention will be on home, family, and health. Family responsibilities come forward at this time, and there could be changes in your home. Pay attention to your health by taking good care of yourself. You may be taking care of a family member.
This is usually a quiet time, as the vibration is one of introspection, study, research, regrouping, and reevaluating. It is a time of rest, meditation, and spiritual and mental housecleaning. Allow developments to unfold for you rather than trying to force them. Make sure you get enough exercise, since your head may be in the clouds much of the time, and exercise will keep you grounded.
This can be a dynamic time with lots of energy. It is a good time for business success if you have grown with your previous cycles. It is a time for being organized, using good judgment, exercising your leadership, being efficient and practical, and thinking big.
As the last period in the cycle, it is a time of endings. You could be ending a relationship or a job, cleaning out your old stuff, or changing old attitudes and habits. You are letting go of conditions that no longer serve you, and sometimes it’s a relief and sometimes it’s unpleasant. In the case of Personal Years, you are preparing to start all over again with the next number 1 period.
This is an illuminating and inspiring time full of high energy and deep sensitivity. It is a time to evaluate your motives and ethics and make adjustments where necessary. You will not be satisfied with casually brushing things off. You will be motivated to be the best you can be, setting new standards of excellence for yourself.
This is the period to put your ideas into action. Think big, go after your dreams. Those that involve service to others will be successful. Build something that serves mankind. Take charge and watch your dreams unfold.
This is a time for communication and unselfish service. You will be involved in fulfilling responsibilities and duties to friends, family, and community. Your attention will be directed toward benefiting others. Share your love, understanding, inner peace, and serenity. Your reward will be to gain twice as much as you give. Remember to have fun.

Cycles – Unfinished Business
Unfinished Business occurs when you have ignored a Challenge lesson you selected in a previous lifetime. We have free will, so we can choose to skip a Challenge cycle. However, the decision comes with a price – we still attract the experiences that represent that Challenge, and we will do so until we decide to resolve it.
I have found that very few people come into this life without unfinished business. When I see a chart free of Unfinished Business, I know the person has had a very high level of commitment to spiritual growth. Most people have at least one instance of Unfinished Business on their Chaldean Soul Chart, which can be seen as an additional Challenge in their lives.
When I learned my Unfinished Business number, I saw exactly how it was playing out in my life.
Can you see a trend of Unfinished Business in your life in the following interpretations?
Indicates in the past a lack of ambition, laziness, dependence on others, fear of standing out in any way, indecisiveness, over-cautiousness, timidity, lack of self respect, and fear of anything new, conditions which are present in your life now.
You can talk a good show, but there is often no action to follow it up. You will not achieve anything without working for it. Success is yours when you develop the courage of your convictions and stand up for yourself while keeping your cool. You need to be the leader.
In the past you were impatient with details, disliked following rules and directions, you were tactless, undisciplined, you lacked direction, lacked self-confidence, were irresponsible with money, and so you have these challenges now.
You may have trouble bonding in intimate relationships. Learn to cooperate with others in order to accomplish anything in this lifetime, and learn to come out of your shell and contribute to the group. Your life is full of details that you must handle. Working with your hands on creative projects can be quite enjoyable.
In a past life, you were afraid to express yourself or promote yourself and your ideas. You had a pessimistic view of life. You lacked imagination and didn’t enjoy life much. You may want to share a great deal with others, but feel you are unable to. You are faced with situations which require you to reveal yourself.
Three is the number of happiness. Learn to express yourself and develop a realistic, optimistic view of life. Learn to be grateful and see the beauty in life. You could take singing or dancing lessons, or join a theater group or public speaking group. Do not paint or draw, as these activities can be isolating, unless you are prepared to have regular exhibitions of your work (social media do not count). Writing can be satisfying if you participate in writer’s groups and read your work in public.
Your creativity, your sense of humor, your friendliness, and anything that brings joy to you will also bring joy to others.
You avoided hard work, discipline, and orderliness in the past, and have challenges with these issues now.
In this life, you need to establish a firm foundation for yourself. Plan your life and work your plan. Stay focused, have patience, practice discipline, be systematic and orderly, and take care of details. Working with your hands could be pleasant for you and would teach you a great deal. Follow through on your responsibilities. Other people will appreciate your dedication, and so will you.
The number 5 is seldom lacking in a person’s name, but if it is lacking in yours, life seems to be a series of changes, new things to adapt to, and emergencies of all kinds. Avoiding these in previous lifetimes magnifies their presence in your life now.
Learn to welcome change and let go of things and relationships that no longer serve you. Interact with and appreciate all kinds of people, adapt to new situations, and handle emergencies responsibly when they come along.
You have avoided responsibility in the past. You were afraid of being tied down, especially to family duties. You avoid helping others because you have been taken advantage of. You never learned the difference between helping someone and taking over. Family members are manipulative, demanding, and unreasonable. You tend to be critical and self-righteous.
You need to learn to set your boundaries and to help people without sacrificing yourself. Learning these important lessons will enable you to enjoy helping others. Remember, you are seeing yourself in others when you criticize. Give yourself a hug and a pat on the back, and love yourself just as you are.
You have been afraid to trust and have faith. In the past, you withdrew and feared taking action when you didn’t know what to expect. You failed to look beyond the obvious for the truth.
Learn to examine all sides of a situation before coming to a conclusion. Develop your inner knowing and your connection to inner guidance, and then trust them to guide you. You need both material and spiritual evidence to guide your life. No more denial or fuzz-ball thinking for you. You are too talented for that.
In the past, you feared having money, possessions, and power. You were careless, showed poor judgment, and didn’t trust your common sense, and these conditions are showing up in your life now.
Learn to develop your organizational and managerial abilities. Delegate opportunity, not responsibility. That is, take responsibility for those tasks you delegate and check up on the delegatees periodically. Always follow up with lawyers, employees, roofers, plumbers, bankers, etc. It’s not that everyone is out to get you, but that you are attracting experiences that force you to pay attention.
Get good advice before investing, and don’t lend money to anybody, no matter how much you want to help. For you, this is good judgment because you don’t get back the money you lend. Be generous in other ways. Learn to love taking good care of yourself and your things, and you can enjoy success. You deserve the best.
You’re Not Really A Computer, but…..
If you think about yourself in computer language, your physical body is the hardware of your life and your soul is the software that drives it. You are hardwired for success with top-quality software, but if that software becomes corrupted with limiting beliefs your brilliant programs start to fail. Your hardware will eventually malfunction if your corrupted software is not cleared of limiting beliefs. So you can see how important it is to take good care of yourself.
Numerology is a science that gives us specific information about ourselves which goes beyond the physical, encompassing the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels as well. I hope you’ve gained insight into your own life by learning about Unfinished Business. All of our challenging experiences are meant to wake us up to our own magnificence.
Next time, the shorter cycles – Personal Years and Personal Months.
What say you?
Cycles – Your Challenges
I was miserable, crying desperately, and my heart was breaking. I had just received a spanking for an infraction of one of my mother’s rules. But something about that one was different. In addition to the stinging pain, I felt a deep sorrow, hopeless, unable ever to be redeemed. I ran to my father who was sitting in his easy chair reading the paper, hoping he would rescue me from the frightening abyss on which I was teetering. He ignored me. At the age of 3 years I felt completely alone, stranded in a world that hated me.
This was a key experience in which I told myself I must be unworthy of love, understanding, or mercy. Otherwise, how could they treat me that way? At that age, of course, I could not verbalize the feeling but it was there, and it remained for years. Much later I learned this and similar experiences were the expression of my Main Challenge, the number 1.
Typically with this challenge, I blamed myself, assuming there must be something wrong with me. From then on for many years I believed my life was unimportant, and I spent a great deal of time taking a backseat to others, feeling lesser-than, without purpose, and ineffective.
Challenge experiences are wake-up calls from our souls urging us to clear the way toward a better life. As painful as these experiences are, I have come to understand that we choose them in order to resolve the emotional issues and mental blocks that are preventing us from living the successful lives we were born for.
It was hard for me to accept the idea that I had chosen mental and physical abuse to wake me up. Now I had to blame myself for being stupid instead of blaming the world for being mean. What made it easier to accept is figuring out that if I had actually chosen my challenges, I could also master them.
Even so, it wasn’t easy. Fear held me back, and facing my fears took all the courage I could muster. I had a lot of help. A year of psychotherapy helped me start looking inward for answers. Many years’ training in personal development, metaphysics, and psychology helped me heal my issues. I’m no longer afraid of my challenges because I no longer believe they mean something is wrong with me. They are just part of my schooling on Planet Earth.
By the way, it’s not necessary to spend years in psychotherapy to master your challenges. I still have issues come up, but now I have ways to quickly resolve them. If you look around you will find self-healing methods that work almost instantly. I’ll share some of them in a future blog post.
See if you can recognize some of your challenges in the following interpretations. It’s not easy to face your challenges – they’re called challenges for a reason. If you try out the idea that you chose them, you’ll see that you have the power to master them.
If you have this one, you are an old soul who has experienced all the other challenges, and now it’s time to be the executive of your own life. You don’t trust your own decisions, depending on others to make decisions for you. The only trouble is you’re never satisfied with what they choose, not to mention being led down the garden path.
Consult with others for their opinions, but make your own decisions from the ideas you’ve gathered. Make the leap. You’ll land on your feet. Think of this challenge as the final polishing of a beautiful gem.
This is the challenge of low self-worth, a lack of self-respect, putting yourself last. You are inwardly independent but assert yourself only if you are angry or through other dramatic means, like rejection. The people in your life who disapprove of you are there to teach you to stand up for yourself without stepping on other people’s toes.
It’s time to approve of yourself and let go of their opinions. Learn to love yourself exactly as you are and focus on your talents and abilities instead of your perceived faults. Find ways to learn forgiveness for yourself and others. Don’t depend on others; let them know they can depend on you.
You are excessively dependent on others, a pleaser, taking everything personally. You are a tender-hearted soul, sensitive to people’s feelings, and you want them to be happy. You tend to lose yourself in relationships by sacrificing your own wishes. You turn yourself inside out to make things right and end up suffering for it, then resenting the people you wanted to please.
Learn to please yourself first and ask for what you want. Others will not learn how to treat you well unless you teach them. Trust yourself. Appreciate yourself for who you are. You are not responsible for the happiness of others, and no fair comparing yourself to anyone else.
You are very creative, but you allow others to squelch your self expression. You find it almost impossible at times to let people know how you really feel. Sometimes you don’t even know how you really feel. It’s okay to have feelings, and it can be an adventure to look inside to see what’s there. You tend to take everything too seriously.
Allow yourself some fun. Get out with friends, meet new people, take lessons, join groups that interest you, allow your sense of humor to come out, entertain, and develop an optimistic outlook. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Be careful of spreading yourself too thin.
You have too much self-discipline or not enough. You may hide in carefully-constructed routines and systems to avoid contact with others or encountering bumps in the road of life. Or, you may be disorganized, careless, lazy, and undisciplined, or sometimes one extreme and sometimes the other. Your challenge is to learn to enjoy working consistently toward a goal without making it into drudgery.
You need structure in your life, and you need to learn to be flexible within that structure. You need goals to strive for. Pay attention to detail, be patient, be on time, let go of worry, and create systems that keep drudgery to a minimum. Instead of trying to force results, learn to allow things to unfold naturally.
This is the challenge of freedom at any price. You tend to be stubborn when you believe your freedom is being restricted, daring others to tell you what to do so you can show them you will do the opposite, whether you want to or not. You don’t want to be tied down, you are casual about responsibility, you use excess as an escape, and you tend to be impulsive. Your challenge is to learn what freedom really is; acting in alignment with your soul’s wisdom.
Learn to let go of the old and welcome new ways and ideas. Trying to lug old ideas, habits, grudges, etc., around is like dragging an anvil behind you wherever you go. As you begin to live in alignment with your spirit, you will experience the satisfaction of happiness with who you are and what you are doing.
You have many rules and a rigid sense of right and wrong. You have the ability to help people, but you go overboard and try to control everyone, doing for them what they can do for themselves. Self-righteousness is another stumbling block for you – judging others, then giving advice (whether they want it or not) that will “fix” them and getting mad when they don’t follow it.
Learn to respect the opinions of others whether you agree with them or not. True service is helping people empower themselves to be who they are, not who you think they should be.
You are challenged to find the truth behind the illusion; get the facts instead of assuming. When you are discontented with what’s going on around you, you complain and criticize instead of helping to find solutions. You tend to be moody, withdrawn, and depressed when things don’t go your way. You try to present a false image of yourself that you think others will admire. This cuts you off from yourself and others, and you feel empty inside.
Learn to have faith in yourself and focus on your positive qualities. Look within for answers and allow your intuition to blossom. Make time alone each day to quiet the static in your mind. Irritability and depression can be aggravated by poor nutrition, so take good care of yourself. Get out in nature and let her soothe your soul. Be honest with yourself and keep your feet on the ground.
As in number 4, there are two extremes to this challenge. You may recognize both in yourself. It is the challenge of the balance of power. You need to learn the material and spiritual sides of power and money and bring them into balance.
Even if you are financially well off, you lack confidence in yourself. No matter how much money, power, or material possessions you have, it is not enough. You tend to judge yourself and others by the number of toys you/they have; the more you have, the better you are. You are constantly in competition with others to prove your superiority.
On the other hand, you may lack financial security because you avoid handling money and material matters due to poor judgment and lack of confidence. You need to learn to manage your personal and business affairs effectively. Develop the qualities of organization, good judgment, leadership, and thoroughness. Delegate opportunity, not responsibility, and learn the difference between the two.
The number 9 does not appear as a challenge.
There are two secrets contained in your Challenges. One is that they are the choices you have made in your infinite wisdom to help you become master of your life. The other is that there is nothing wrong with you. Good news! You have the opportunity of seeing your Challenges as the mother lode of information that can set you free.
As painful and difficult as they may be, if you face your Challenges and resolve them you will experience more peace and freedom in your life with each lesson. They are part of the curriculum you have created for learning how to live the life you dream of. Congratulations!
Your Cycles – Past, Present, and Future
I was 25 years old and my life was about to change radically; from the predictability of typical young married life to a whirlwind of often chaotic activity over a nine-year period.
My husband was in graduate school when I became pregnant. When our baby was 8 months old, we moved more than 1,000 miles to his first job. Three years later we moved again more than 500 miles to his second job. Less than a year later we were on our way back, more than 600 miles, to my parents’ home where my mother had suffered a life-threatening illness.
At this time, my husband and I separated, I took care of my mother as she recovered, became a student of metaphysics, got a divorce, became a single mother, and entered the work force. I had experienced an about-face.
What was happening, unbeknownst to me, was my second Pinnacle, the number 5, the number of freedom and change, letting go of the old and making way for the new.
How many times have you wished you had a crystal ball? I certainly could have used one then. How reassuring it would have been to know these occurrences were natural elements of my life purpose.
Today we’ll be talking about what’s happening behind the scenes in your life; the deeper meaning of your experiences.
There are many familiar cycles that influence our lives; the seven-year cycles of the stages of maturity; the time-telling cycles of 365 days, twelve months, thirty days, seven days, twenty-four hours; and the cycles of the planets as they travel across the sky. We live in these cycles automatically and move through them without thinking about them. They are an integral part of life.
Numerology cycles represent experiences that you move through at specific times during your life. Your cycles present opportunities for learning to master life. They enhance your core qualities and stretch your abilities. They are automatic, and when you are aware of them you can take full advantage of the experiences they provide.
Understanding your cycles enables you to navigate the highs and lows of life with more confidence, realizing that everything is unfolding for your good.
If you are going through a time when nothing seems to be working for you, feeling as if you are swimming upstream and getting nowhere, chances are you are resisting the influence a numerology cycle.
Our numerology cycles vary in length from one month to several years. The day we are born we are under the influence of three long cycles at once, and two shorter ones. This idea may seem confusing and overwhelming, but our cycles mesh together seamlessly to provide an environment in which we can thrive.
There are four numerology cycles, called Pinnacles, Challenges, Personal Years, and Personal Months. There is one more I call Unfinished Business, which represents an uncompleted cycle from the past.
Each of us has four Pinnacles, whose influences occur in sequence, 1, 2, 3, and 4 over the course of our lives. The number and duration of each Pinnacle are calculated from your birth date.
Pinnacles represent experiences that strengthen you and exercise your talents. My first Pinnacle was 1, which gave me opportunities to be independent. I also experienced resistance and frustration, since grownups didn’t appreciate independence in children back in the day. If my parents had known about numerology they could have been more nurturing and supportive of my independence.
I loved discovering and exploring new things and ideas, another aspect of the number 1 Pinnacle. It provided the perfect environment for exploration of psychic phenomena as I grew older, an interest which set me apart from my family and most of my friends.
I had many unique experiences during that period. Sometimes I felt like a fish out of water because of my unconventional outlook in general, but I learned from numerology years later that my experiences were preparing me to trust myself in spite of what others may think. I felt excited and validated the first time I looked at my Chaldean Soul Chart and understood what was happening in my past.
Will you recognize your Pinnacles in the interpretations below? What seems to be a prominent theme in your life right now?
This is the time of pioneering new territory, exercising leadership, and exploring and developing new ideas. You must take action and use initiative to be successful. Experiences that help you develop independence, individualism, originality, and courage will be presented to you. You will need to stand on your own two feet and rely on yourself to get things done.
Down side: bossiness, obstinacy, and self-criticism.
This is a time for working with others. Detail work, healing, counseling, cooperation, diplomacy, and partnerships are emphasized, as are networking and establishing harmonious relationships. Engagement or marriage are possible. Music and other artistic activities are good outlets for you. Psychic sensitivity is strong now, as well. You achieve a great deal by having patience with yourself and others.
Down side: lack of self-confidence, too dependent on others, pleasing others at your expense, taking things personally.
Self expression is your path to success now. You are focused on the lighter side of life, entertaining and being entertained. Express your feelings and thoughts genuinely – you will be given many opportunities. Writing, pubic speaking, acting, stage/movie production, visual arts, dancing, singing, and design are possible. Share the joy you will be experiencing.
Down side: fingers in too many pies, too much activity, losing your direction, tendencies to be over emotional and self-centered.
This is a period of building, attending to detail, working hard and enjoying it, taking pride in your work, being part of a team, following directions, establishing schedules, practicing discipline, taking your time and being thorough. It is prudent to save your money and build a financial foundation. You are getting all your ducks in a row, preparing for success in the future.
Down side: stubborn, rebellious, lazy, perfectionist, no fun.
This is a period of freedom and change; of letting go of the old and making way for the new. There will be much activity, different situations, different types of people, and new opportunities. This is a time for developing your qualities of versatility and adventure. It could be the beginning of a new phase in your life or a change in direction, a time of advancement and progress. Money could fluctuate up and down.
Down side: feelings of restlessness and uncertainty at times; impulsiveness and excess.
Your attention is on home, family, and community now. You may be addressing adjustments and changes at home. It is a good time to get married if you are in a loving relationship. Service to community it a rewarding possibility. You create prosperity now by settling down and embracing responsibility.
Down side: your crabby criticizing will tell you when you are doing too much for others and not enough for yourself.
You are drawn to introspection during this cycle. It is a time for spiritual housecleaning; looking inside, taking stock, renewing your spirit, and making any adjustments necessary to restore your inner balance and expand your mind. You may want to delve into religion, philosophy, meditation, and enjoy nature. It’s a good time to go back to school, begin higher education, and refine your knowledge to become an expert in your field.
Down side: moodiness, complaining, and feeling restricted or isolated. Be patient and share with loved ones and friends who are probably wondering what’s going on with you.
This is a cycle of power and material and financial growth. You must take action to see results. Your focus is on business, finances, big projects, accomplishing goals, and leadership. You could receive a promotion (more responsibility) at work. Profits could increase if you own your own business. You will attract opportunities to develop your executive ability. Stay focused and maintain your values to accomplish your goals. Demonstrate efficiency, dependability, determination, strength, good management, good judgment, and diplomacy. Persevere, be uncompromising, thorough, and exacting.
Down side: trying to drive that bulldozer over anything and anyone who gets in your way; judging yourself and others by how many toys you/they have.
This is a cycle of completion. It could be an emotional time because it is a time of endings. It is preparation for new beginnings. You could be ending a job, a relationship, or a way of life that will prepare you for moving on. Learning to love unconditionally is a key now and will attract unconditional love to you. You will have opportunity to be of service to many. Be willing to help in any way you can, and enjoy good times with friends and loved ones.
Down side: unhappiness if you lack understanding of true love. Nine is the vibration of unconditional love, and demands a great deal of anyone who chooses it. Learn to appreciate yourself and others unconditionally, and you will attract the love of others.
This is a cycle of spiritual expansion, inspiration, idealism, and individuality. It is a time of high energy, inspirational ideas, and enjoyment of the beauty in life. It could involve fame, leadership, and being in the spotlight. Activities that uplift and empower others will fulfill you. Follow your hunches and trust your inner awareness, for you will have heightened sensitivity now. Focus on exciting activities that uplift the spirit. You’ll have a lot of fun.
Down side: impatience, hastiness, arrogance. Ideals are great because they keep you focused, but don’t let them become more important than people. If you feel nervous or anxious, chances are you are spending too much time dreaming and not enough time acting on your dreams. Get up off that couch and get going. The world is waiting.
This is the time to use your talents and experience to make your dream a reality – to unite the spiritual and material. You have opportunities to organize, plan, lead, and accomplish projects that serve large numbers of people, focused on improving conditions on a community, national, or international scale.
Down side: arrogance and perfectionism. Avoid big schemes for fast money.
This cycle offers experiences that expand your loving nature. Focus on the good in everyone, see through so-called imperfections and nurture the loving presence in everyone. People come to you for help because they trust you. You will be taking care of others. Take care of yourself as well by doing things that soothe and amuse you and restore your serenity. People love to come to your parties. Nurture your creativity and your appreciation of beauty.
Down side: becoming too involved in the problems of others. Your opportunity is to help others, not to live their lives. Everyone has inner guidance; let them use it.
Knowing your cycles can help you understand your past experiences, get the most out of your present life, and give you a preview of your future. Here are some more experiences I’ve had, just to give you a sense of how your Pinnacles flow. Keep in mind, I didn’t know about numerology for many years. When I discovered Chaldean numerology, I was amazed at how closely my life had followed my cycles.
My third Pinnacle was 6 and lasted nine years. It was during this cycle that I became a teacher, lecturer, and counselor in personal development. I traveled around the Eastern and Mid-western U.S. for two years lecturing and teaching and then opened a private practice where I taught locally. I had family challenges, too, during this time. It was during this cycle that I discovered Chaldean numerology.
Looking into my future, I saw that my final Pinnacle, which lasts till the end of life, was 7. It was a mystery to me how this one would manifest itself. But, typically of 7, opportunities opened up for me to go back to school. I earned certification as a Crystal Healing facilitator, a Transformational Breath facilitator, and received my Master’s degree in Applied Psychology, fulfilling a dream I’d had for many years.
I was saturated in learning, my talents stretched to the max, and happy as a clam.
I was at last able to address both the spiritual and psychological aspects of the psyche in my private practice. I designed the Chaldean Soul Chart then, too. I became a writer, something I had never imagined, and have several research projects going in numerology. I am always seeking knowledge about what makes us tick, and there are more books coming.
I hope you’ve found some useful information about what’s happening behind the scenes in your life and have gained insight into your brilliantly planned experiences.
Next time, Challenges; the secret behind those scary fears that psychology calls mental blocks and emotional issues.
Your Spiritual Core – Your Outer Life
You are already more than you ever dreamed you could be. Hidden deep within you are secrets that will amaze you if you take the time to uncover them. You have more potential within you than you will ever express, and that’s a good thing because it means you have more choices than you ever thought possible.

There’s a tool for every job. Just as plumbers use wrenches, carpenters use hammers, and artists use brushes, Chaldean numerology is a tool you can use to help you access the secrets of your soul.
Your Outer Life number indicates the way others see you and the way you live your life – what I call your life style. Your Outer Life number reveals your behavior patterns, the physical expression of your life, your personality, and these elements influence the way others react or respond to you.
Because you are independent and capable, people look to you for leadership. You like action and don’t spend time with small talk when there is work to be done. People like to be around you because you project a sense of serenity and harmony. You are outgoing and friendly in a dignified way, even at a party. You make people feel welcome wherever you are. People come to you for advice. Your life revolves around family.
Down side: you can be a worrier, interfering, overbearing, self righteous, and careless about your appearance and your environment.

People see you as dynamic, energetic, friendly, persuasive, and confident. You emanate personal power, strength, and success. You automatically assume leadership, and like to be in charge.

Down side: you can be egotistical, shallow, uninterested in the opinions of others, and an impractical dreamer, accomplishing nothing.
People see you as a powerful, practical humanitarian who can make dreams come true. You use your skills and expertise to help others and make the world a better place. People trust you and are confident that you have their highest interests at heart.
Down side: you can be a know-it-all and look down on others. You can also lack confidence in yourself to such a degree that your power is completely hidden.
People see you as a giver. You are outgoing, entertaining, dramatic, a lover of children and animals. People are attracted to you because they can feel your kindness, generosity, and genuine caring. It seems your house is always full of people.
Down side: you tend to take on the problems of others rather than helping them solve their own. You get stuck in their stuff, like Brer Rabbit to the Tar Baby, sacrificing yourself because you don’t understand the difference between being a servant and being of service.
Why is your Outer Life number important? Like all the other numbers in your Chaldean Soul Chart, it deepens your sense of self and validates the message your soul is whispering to you, showing you who you are. You know – that still, small voice within.
What is your soul whispering to you?

7 Tips For Spirituality, Making A Connection
This article on tips for spirituality came about as the result of work done with people in addiction recovery. The concepts are applicable to most every one however. The question is often asked, what can I do to improve my spirituality?
Addiction can be viewed as a disease of isolation, becoming disconnected to life. Addiction recovery and spirituality can be viewed as the process of becoming connected. The more connections in our lives, the greater the chance of coming into harmony with our surroundings.
There are basically four areas of life, or types of relationships we work toward in becoming connected. Positive spirituality may be viewed as having a healthy relationship and positive self-esteem with yourself, firstly. Secondly there is the relationship you may have or want to develop with whatever form of Higher Power is right for you. It can be God, Nature, a Force of Universe, it is up to you. Please note we are not mixing religion with this idea of spirituality. The third are to develop healthy connections or spirituality is in relationships with family. Lastly is the area which is kind of a catch all, community. This includes casual relationships, work, social situations, etc.
Here are 7 tips for spirituality that are very concrete areas for development. It is very important to be working in each area, set up specific goals that are measurable and achievable. Instead of saying ‘I will start meditating’ say ‘I will spend 10 minutes before breakfast and ten minutes after dinner alone reading the meditation of the day’.
Without further ado:
1. Use personal prayer and/or meditation. This is quiet time to start to develop time for yourself and to assess how things are going in your life.
2. Spend time in groups. This could be attending a worship service, singing in a choir, acting in a play or any group with positive interaction and direction. This enhances our ability to develop relationships with other people.
3. Spend time learning. Grow your mind. This could be taking a few classes at the community college, book study groups, self-help or mental health material.
4. Take time for yourself. Plan a quiet day just for you, away from family and work. Indulge yourself in quiet. There are many retreat areas where you can find peaceful surroundings for recharging yourself.
5. Physical fitness and proper diet. There is a very satisfying feeling that comes from taking care of yourself physically. Get in shape to be the best person you can be.
6. Recreation. Indulge in some activity just for sheer fun. Explore hobbies, sports, whatever floats your boat, but make time for it. Do not plan to ‘get around to it someday’. Just do it.
7. Be of service. Do some volunteer work or engage in random acts of kindness. It really does feel good and build self-esteem to help someone with no thought of reward. This is a cosmic win-win situation.
We hope that gave you some ideas about how to improve your relationships with self and others. The key thing is to take action. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Why not take steps to improve your spiritual connection?
