You Are More Than You Think You Are

Your Spiritual Core – Your Midlife Power Number

Midlife Power – it’s amazing! Its influence increases as you get older!

Your Midlife Power Number is influential in your life from the beginning, but its influence becomes strongly evident around your mid-thirties when you have reached a certain level of maturity and experience.

Its qualities lend strength to your core qualities and more definition to your life path. It presents opportunities that stretch your abilities and push you out of your comfort zone, which is all good because you become liberated from the old stuff that was limiting you.

To so many people, midlife is scary. I think it’s because subconsciously we know we are neglecting our life plan. We know it’s time to get busy and find out who we really are.

Midlife is a time of evaluation before moving into a deeper experience of our life plan. We begin to ask ourselves the meaning of life, evaluating where we’ve been and where we’re going.

If we’re satisfied with what we see, we experience the new strength of our Midlife Power number. If not, midlife is a time of confusion and anxiety. Everyone is familiar with the term, midlife crisis. It’s our soul sending us warning signals that we need to get real with ourselves.

During that time in my life I was anxious to discover my life purpose. Even though I was learning and doing work that fulfilled me, I needed more direction. What could I do with what I was learning?

Up to that time I had been living someone else’s version of what my life should be, and I was anxious all the time and full of self-doubt. It felt so good to get myself out of that trap and start to follow my heart. Even so, it was new territory for me, and I wanted validation.

Here’s how I experienced the new strength of my Midlife Power number, which is 5. It’s the number of freedom, which brings into your life travel, change, relating with all kinds of people in different situations, and taking risks that lead to adventure. At this time I had not yet discovered Chaldean numerology, so I was unaware of what was happening.

Since my teens I had been seeking practical knowledge about psychic ability and metaphysics without the sensationalism and drama normally associated with them. I read all the books I could get my hands on and investigated various organizations, hoping I could learn more from studying with others.

At around age 30 I found a school that had exactly what I was looking for and became an eager student. Eventually, during my late 30s, I became a lecturer representing this school, traveling for several years to major cities and small towns in the Eastern and Mid-western U.S. speaking about psychic ability and spiritual development and giving workshops in which people could experience what it means to be a spiritual being having a physical experience.

I never dreamed that my yearning to learn about psychic ability would lead me to be a teacher, lecturer, and psychotherapist. Talk about getting pushed out of my comfort zone. I used to be petrified of my fears, but the influence of adventurous number 5 gave me the courage to take risks that led me through the fears and limiting beliefs that were holding me back. To this day, fear is a messenger that tells me when I need to stop and take a deeper look inside. In later posts I’ll share with you some of the self-healing techniques I use to eliminate fears as they come up.

Can you tell from the following interpretations what your Midlife Power number might be?

Number 1:

This is the number of someone who never retires. You will have opportunities to lead by pioneering new ideas or adding new methods to traditional systems. Your creativity, originally, and cleverness can lead you to become more ambitious and aggressive.

Down side:

Don’t turn into a steamroller, be opinionated, or become a control freak.

Number 2:

Your diplomatic talents will take a front seat in your life. You find strength in partnership. People come to you for advice. In fact, you may become a counselor, arbiter, or advisor. You may also want to become involved in the arts, metaphysics, religion, or research.

Down side: Remember, you are not a doormat.

Number 3:

Self expression is your strength now. Your sense of humor, your talent with words, creating beauty, and entertaining adds joy to your life and the lives of others. It’s time to lighten up and express your creativity.

Down side:

Avoid getting scattered in all directions. Stay focused and work toward a goal.

Number 4:

Now is the time to create a structure for your ideas. One way is to create systems to make your life and the lives of others easier. Another way could be creating delightful and useful structures or objects with your hands. You will be working hard but enjoying it, especially when you see the tangible results of your efforts.

Down side:

Watch out for laziness and avoid becoming a perfectionist. Instead of being stubborn, cultivate flexibility. People are depending on you, which pleases you.

Number 5:

Since freedom and variety are up for you now, it’s hard to say what you’ll be doing. The only thing for sure is that there will be opportunities that will change your life. They will involve lots of activity. New people, travel, sales, cleaning out closets/garage, changing jobs, new relationships, reporting, investigating, or communications could be some expressions of this vibration. If you are following your life path, these will enhance what you are already doing. Change can be upsetting if you have been cheating yourself out of a fulfilling life. Let go of the old and embrace the new. Adventure is the name of the game.

Down side:

It’s easy to lose your focus and lose yourself in frenetic activity. Make sure your activities benefit others as well as yourself. Avoid excess in all its forms, as you are vulnerable to addictive behavior now. Remember, true freedom is acting in harmony with your soul’s whispering, not in stubbornly defying authority just to show how independent you are.

Number 6:

You have opportunities to blossom in service to others now, especially to family and community; perhaps in counseling, teaching, advising, or as an organizer. Your home life can provide a solid foundation for you, and finances shouldn’t be a worry since you take your responsibilities seriously.

Down side:

Avoid becoming a martyr in your desire to be of service. Get paid – if not in cash, in fun, learning, or an exchange of services.

Number 7:

Your life becomes more focused on spiritual and/or intellectual pursuits. You could become a specialist or an expert in your field, get involved in research, and become more deeply involved in your present activity or branch out into education, conservation, ecology, writing, philosophy, metaphysics, science, or religion.

Down side:

You could be working alone much of the time, so avoid isolation. Give yourself a break, get out in nature, get together with friends, and include your family in what you are doing. Don’t be a know-it-all.

Number 8:

Opportunities involving power and authority come to you now. You may head an organization, run or expand your own business, lead, supervise, and direct. You could become responsible for more people, supervise bigger projects, or handle more money than ever before. You will need self discipline and focus. Your organizational abilities will be stretched, and you will enjoy all the action.

Down side:

No bulldozing people, boasting, or trying to impress others with all your toys. Real success comes from acting upon the whispers from your soul.

Number 9:

Humanitarian activities come to the fore now. You can be a big sister or brother to the world. You want to make a difference on a world-wide scale. Activities can include the arts, metaphysics, healing roles such as doctor, nurse, psychology, massage therapist, physical therapist, politics, philosophy, or being the loving center of your neighborhood. Endings are also in the picture, whether in relationships or in letting go of old ways and embracing new and better ways.

Down side:

You want to save the world, but that’s not your job. You can’t fix anyone, and you are not responsible to. Your only responsibility is to share the great love for humanity that you have in your heart. That’s what feeds your soul.

Number 11/2:

Inspiration is a dominant theme in your life now. You have big dreams and uplifting messages you want to share with the world. You may be in the spotlight attracting attention as a speaker, artist, author, inspirational teacher, or inventor. Since 11 is electrical, you may be communicating through radio, television, or video. Refining skills or new concepts in high-energy occupations such as aviation, aerospace, and other sciences are also possibilities.

Down side:

Big ideas but no action means you have some spiritual/emotional housecleaning to do. Make sure your dreams have practical applications that are useful and improve quality of life. Don’t be so much of an idealist that you forget about people.

Number 22/4:

You have opportunities to make dreams come true, as you have the ability to bring big ideas into practical form. Activities on a national or international scale are possible if you have the experience, contacts, or expertise. Twenty-two represents the next level of achievement for you and can express in any occupation from ambassador to electronics technician. You have opportunities to manifest ideals that serve humanity in practical ways.

Down side:

Thinking you are superior to others is a trap. Being a perfectionist is a waste of time. Either of these will pollute your experience.

Number 33/6:

The qualities of master communicator and cosmic parent are added to your life. Your love reassures everyone you meet. The more people you reach, the happier you are. Acting, singing, painting, designing, photography, public speaking, teaching, counseling, healing, hospitality, and entertaining are expressive possibilities for you. Family responsibilities may also require your heartfelt attention.

Down side:

Doing for others what they can do for themselves doesn’t help anyone. Take care of yourself, take some time off, and give yourself a break now and then. Let someone else take over for a while.

So, which Midlife Power number does your heart resonate with? What adventures are waiting for you? What do you think of all this? I’d love to know.

Next, your past, present, and future.

Your Inner Desire

rsz_1flying_star_whiteYou Are More Than You Think You Are

Your Spiritual Core – Your Inner Desire

Your Inner Desire number represents your motivation, the inner you, your heart’s desire, what you want more than anything else, and it is fueled by your feelings. I think of it as your ultimate comfort zone. When you are acting from your Inner Desire, you feel a deep sense of security and excitement at the same time. Your world is in harmony and you feel a self-confident sense of belonging.

Interestingly, this is the only part of yourself that you can hide from the world. If you are afraid of what others may think or if you are living someone else’s version of your life, you will keep your Inner Desire bottled up in order to be accepted. If this is you, you can use this as a golden opportunity to start building self-confidence and living a more authentic life by allowing the expression of your Inner Desire.

Here’s how one person found a way to express his Inner Desire number. All his core numbers, except one, represented conservative qualities of responsibility, hard work, consistency, and single-mindedness in achieving his goals. The one exception to these qualities was his Inner Desire number, which was 5. The five in his life gave him the desire for freedom, adventure, change, and risk-taking. His heart’s desire seemed out of alignment with his life and the expectations others had of him.

He found an outlet for this complete contrast in his makeup by driving a sports car and having a career in which he enjoyed enough freedom within the structure of his industry that he was able to maintain his responsibilities without feeling unduly restricted. His ultimate goal was to retire before the age of 50, and his self-discipline enabled him to express his Inner Desire in ways that served his ultimate goal. Once he achieved this goal, his intention was to have even more freedom and adventure in his life by making a second career out of his hobby and taking adventure vacations with his family.

The key to a fulfilling life is being who you truly are deep down in your soul. Numerology helps you discover the message your true Self is carrying for you and guides you on your way to living that message.

Your true Self cannot be suppressed. When it is not expressed consciously, it will emerge negatively in relationship problems, money problems, and health problems. This is the Real You insisting on being recognized. By allowing your true Self to unfold, you are automatically living your Life Purpose.

Number 1:

You want independence; you like action and accomplishment; and you want to be unique, creative, not one of the crowd. You would rather work alone, but if you must work with others, you want to be in charge. You like to start things, but often get bored before you finish them.

Down side: you can be impatient, bossy, arrogant, conceited, critical, selfish, and outspoken. You tend to put pressure on yourself by holding yourself to impossible standards. You will be more successful if you learn to be diplomatic and tactful.

Number 2:

You are thoughtful, loving, devoted, and loyal; you love the comfort of a nice, soft chair and camaraderie with friends and loved ones. You want peace and harmony more than anything. You are sensitive to the feelings of others and have psychic ability, especially when it comes to knowing how people really feel. You would rather be in the background than at the head of the line. You are contented with the little things and don’t need ambitious dreams to motivate you.

Down side: you tend to let people run over you because you crave peace at any price. You don’t let people know what you want because you think it might inconvenience or displease them. You can be overly emotional, taking everything personally.

Number 3:

You love to express yourself through speaking, writing, or acting. Your goal is to be happy, and you love to make other people happy. You are an optimist and, if you worry, it’s not for long. You are loving, outgoing, and affectionate. You love to entertain, to be entertained, and to have a lot of friends. You are creative, artistic, and you like to be surrounded by beauty.

Down side: you can be a drama king/queen. You are so versatile you can end up scattering your energy in all directions with your fingers in too many pies. Develop tolerance and patience.

Number 4:

Your greatest desire is for structure, steadiness, and routine. You are practical, analytical, reliable, orderly, and methodical. You are loyal and honest, and respect these qualities in others. You like details, and you like to work with your hands. You have self-discipline and are not afraid to discipline others.

Down side: you can be inflexible, stubborn, a perfectionist, impatient with those you perceive as undisciplined or disorganized. You can be narrow-minded, unwilling to change or try something new, even if it’s for the better.

Number 5:

Your greatest desire is for freedom. You like variety, adventure, travel, new places, and new faces. You are versatile, clever, witty, a good mixer. You dislike routine and are not a good candidate for a desk job. You are outgoing and magnetic.

Down side: You can be stubborn when you perceive others trying to limit your freedom.  You waste time by trying to prove you cannot be controlled. Remember, real freedom is living in alignment with your spirit. Excess of all kinds is another stumbling block for you.

Number 6: Your greatest desire is to have love, justice, and harmony in the world. Home, family, and community are vital to you. You are a loyal friend and a devoted family member. You love to counsel others, to advise and guide people through their troubles. You are happiest when someone is in trouble and you can open your door and your heart to them.

Down side: you tend to become emotionally involved in other people’s troubles, worrying about them and creating stress for yourself. You can be stubborn, interfering, and self righteous when it seems others are not taking your advice.

Number 7: You are curious and seek knowledge. You love mystery, and seek to understand the unknown, whether in the field of science or spirituality. You have an inner knowing that guides you through life. You can be quiet and reserved, but you are not conventional.

Down side: you can be high strung and hard to get along with because of your psychic
sensitivity. You are like a radio, broadcasting your energy outward and picking up static along with clear information. You need to allow time to be alone each day in order to recharge your batteries and quiet the static.

Number 8:

You love power, material possessions, and accomplishment. You are a born leader, and you thrive in the director’s chair. You like high quality and do not settle for second best. You have good judgment and a sense of fairness that allows you to get the most out of your employees/team members without seeming to boss them around. You keep your eye on the big picture and find others to take care of the details.

Down side: you can be a tyrant. Usually it’s because you are putting so much pressure on yourself you forget that you are working/living with actual people who can help you if you treat them nicely.

Number 9: Love for humanity drives you. You dream of helping mankind in a big way. You are the universal big sister or big brother; kind, understanding, compassionate, always willing to help. People are more important to you than anything.

Down side: You can be impractical and indecisive. Dreaming is a wonderful thing, but you need to put food on your table, too. You can get bogged down in self-pity when you discover some people don’t respond to the love you have for them.

Number 11/2:

You are inspired by the spiritual, but you are not religious; you love to explore the unseen. You are idealistic and see the world as full of beauty and infinite potential. You are a champion of the individual, and you long to inspire people to achieve their dreams. You have creative, unconventional ideas, and need to find ways to apply them in practical ways that serve humanity.

Down side: you tend to love ideals more than people. As you are able to cultivate unconditional love for yourself just as you are, you will cease judging others for their perceived failings. You can be stubborn, hasty, and domineering. Use diplomacy in communicating with others.

Number 22/4:

Your passion is to make dreams come true. You have high ideals, a great understanding of the spiritual and physical worlds, and have the practical know-how to manifest dreams on the physical plane. You love people, and you are a kind and patient leader.

Down side: your desire for perfection can alienate people. You are susceptible to the down side of the number 4. Have faith in yourself and your abilities.

Number 33/6:

Love and service drive you. You desire that everyone know how magnificent they are and how much they are loved by the Creator. You can see the good in everyone, no matter what others may say or think.

Down side: you tend to sacrifice yourself for others, creating trouble in your own life. Take time to give yourself the comfort you offer others.

Please keep in mind that these interpretations are brief in order to keep these posts as short as possible. My book, “You Were Born to Succeed,” goes into more detail.

Do you see yourself in any of these numbers? I’d love to have your comments.

Next time, Your Outer Life – how you look to others, the style of your life.

Caught in Traffic

No, I’m not in NYC, but it sure feels like it around here. I’m caught up in Christmas prep (you know, shopping, trimming the tree, baking, etc.) and unable to keep up with blogging. I’m sure there are plenty of you out there who don’t have time to read blogs, either, so my next post in the series, “You Are More Than You Think You Are,” will appear during the first week of 2016.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all. May this season bring you joy and wonderment.

Thanks so much for checking in to my blog.

Ack! A Big Joke on Me!

Today a huge truth was revealed to me with great force. For months now, my guardian angels have been suggesting that I delete a big chunk of old data from my flash drive. So I deleted some files.

Then my flash drive started acting up – sometimes connecting and sometimes not. And I’ve been thinking I should transfer the data on it to another flash drive, but never took the time. So yesterday it quit altogether – the actual drive – the USB port is working fine.

In the middle of all the testing I was doing (just to make sure the drive was really dead) the flash drive in my head came on and I realized that this was the real deal – my files were gone. However, instead of having a panic attack about this, I started laughing. I laughed and laughed, even though some of those files were important and I would have some major rewriting to do.  (Significantly, the only file that survived was my journal, only because I had to save it on my desktop yesterday since, unbeknownst to me, that was when my flash drive ultimately gave up).

On a different, but related note, it would now be appropriate to warn you that the name of this blog will soon be changed (for the umpteenth time). I haven’t 100% made up my mind about the new name, but it will reflect the transition I’ve been going through the past few months (thus, the absence of articles) both personally and professionally. Nothing radical, but an important shift in emphasis to Life Purpose, with  numerology as the means to its discovery.

I love empowering people to live the purpose they were born for, and I love every time I get a notice that someone has purchased my book. It really thrills me that this person is about to embark on an exciting, life-changing journey of challenge and fulfillment.

I also love doing personal Chaldean Soul Profiles. I love introducing people to their spiritual selves. I love the “Wow” response as we talk about the powerful qualities that make them unique; about the talents that enable them to create the life of their dreams. I love sharing with them how to use their challenges to grow into the powerful individuals they were meant to be.

There are many ways to discover your life purpose. Chaldean numerology is the simplest, quickest way I have found to re-discover who you really are.  You will choose the way that is best for you. The important thing to me is that you do it. You deserve to live a life of enjoyment and fulfilling achievement.

So go ahead. Is there anything in your life that you don’t need any longer? Anything you can delete from your files or give or throw away? Maybe you will be more courageous than I was. Maybe you’ll clean all your old stuff out before the universe steps in and causes a major eruption.

Thank You!

A short, sweet post to let you know that I am one of the winners of The Authors Show contest and will be included in the 2012 publication of “50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading.” My sincere thanks to all those who voted for me. Without you it would not have been possible. Much success to you!

©Soul Searching for Deeper Meanings of Illness

By Marilyn Cramer, RMT, Cl.Ht.

There are many hidden meanings or agendas for illness.  There are times when illness is caused by physical stress to the point where our immune system cannot function.  This can be caused by our negative and sometimes unruly thoughts that seep into the subconscious.  Sometimes illness or disease is a form of escape, and other times it is a form of wanting or needing attention.  Not all illnesses or diseases have hidden agendas, though.  Sometimes it is toxins or poor diet that is the culprit.  There are times, too, that our Higher Selves  choose a path of illness or disease for higher learning and soul growth.

On a deeper subconscious level, illness or disease can give the “inner child” in us the attention we are craving.  When we were children, we were coddled by our mothers whenever…
